To say the least, a group only 20 men have moved mountains.
Or at least N Scale, HO scale, and Z scale; anyway.
The storied Central Ohio N-Trak Model Railroad Club wrapped their big event in May with great success.
Ohio N-Scale Weekend from this year saw over 200 folks attended the weekend. The event is normally held in Mid-May. It will return on May 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2016 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hillard, Ohio (northwest suburb of Metro Columbus, OH).
Now pressing forward, the other big event to cap their year is the 157th Hartford Fair in rural Licking County. The fair will be held August 9th-15th this year.
Going on 11 years; the HO division, N scale modules, N-Scale T-Trak displays and Lego layouts make an appearance in the Commerce Building.
The presence is a welcome return to all folks who visit the fair. Many Knox, Licking, and Delaware Countians love to see the model trains.
CONTRAK, as club members call themselves; also serves the community.
The Tri Village Lions had the club display an N-Scale T-trak layout July 25th.
September 15th and December 16th, the club will display an N-Scale T-Trak layout for visitors, patients, and their families.
Then of course; there are many train shows the club will visit between now and the end of the year.
In late fall; the club will attend the NMRA Division 3 Miami Valley Region Train Show at the Hara Arena in Dayton. The show will take place November 7th and 8th.

Early December brings the club to a train haven of Ohio. Marion, Ohio is not only home of Marion Union Station and the model railroad club on the site. The Marion County Fairgrounds hosts its annual fair; the Indoor Football Team; the Blue Racers, and its annual train show.
This show is held on December 5th in Evers Arena on the Marion Co. Fairgrounds, 220 E. Fairground Street. The show will take place beginning at 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is $5 per person, $12 per family, kids under 8 are free with an adult.
Then later in Mid-December; the club returns to old stomping grounds; the Ohio Expo Center. The Buckeye Train Show has them and other local clubs display layouts on December 12th, 2015.
The Buckeye Model Train and Railroad Artifacts Show is known as Ohio’s largest combination model train and railroad memorabilia show is coming to town.
The public can visit 9 am – 4 pm. General admission is $6; Children (under 12) – Free
The show will be held in the Lausche Building.
The general public can also visit their clubhouse most Tuesday nights.
